Taxi Butler PAY is designed for taxi companies that want to offer card payment as part of the booking experience. Particularly useful at hotels, airport terminals and other venues where guests expect to settle the fare before or at the time of travel.
Key features include:
- Contactless payments at the device: guests pay by card or phone using the NFC reader built into the Taxi Butler PLUS and KIOSK.
- Major payment methods accepted: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay and other contactless payment methods are supported.
- Fare pre-authorised at booking: the estimated total is shown to the guest before they tap to pay. The amount is pre-authorised on their card, and the final fare is captured once the trip is complete.
- Managed payment processing: Taxi Butler handles the payment processor relationship and KYC onboarding through their payment processing partner.
- Fast payouts: funds are paid out to the taxi company’s bank account within a few business days.
- Reduce no-shows: pre-payment at the time of booking lowers the risk of guests not appearing for their taxi.
- Payment reporting in the PORTAL: all payment activity is visible in the Taxi Butler PORTAL alongside booking data, giving a complete view of revenue per venue and device.
